Richard Drury - British: born 1968
In my imagery I am intrigued by negative space and how the subject defines this space. What is not in the image is often more important than what is. What is left unsaid is more powerful than what is. Duchamp said he felt art was too much about the hand and not enough about the mind. Art, I feel should be a balance of hand and mind, craft and meaning.
