My images speak to the essence of everyday life, commemorating forgotten and unnoticed moments in our fast paced culture. I use my photographs as departure points, modifying them in subtle ways that belie the presence of digital media. My intention in these works is to show unguarded moments with masks down and instants transcended. With the computer I am able to unleash my imagination by giving new and playful life to a moment frozen in time. - DW
